Containers; Pitcher

Apologies - the week is running away from me.

Our reprise of the Containers Challenge for this week is Pitcher.

New (ish) Challenge; Containers; Barrel.

In another community I help run (photo_scavenger ( we have sometimes gone back to challenges from the past as newer people haven't done them before, or others have new ideas about them. This is what I did here for the Rainbow challenges, of course, and it spurred me to go back and look at the older ones.

I did think to go right back to the beginnings of this community, 15 years ago, but challenges were a bit more random to start with, and so I decided to go back to a point before I joined in late 2008. And I liked the look of the Container Challenges, s0 I thought it might be fun to revisit them.

I do hope other community members are okay with the idea of revisiting previous prompts; please tell me if not and I promise I then won't ever do it again.

Th original set was longer, and a bit random in itself - I will pick out six that seem to go together, starting with;

Travel; By Wagon. Envy - Éomer.

New challenge

This set of challenges are all prompted by ways to travel

The first one being...

Walk, run, climb, stroll or wander - Middle-earth has plenty of travellers.
Apologies for not posting last week - there was a family trauma.

As you would have guessed, last week's prompt should have been blue.

This week, as we do six prompts per set, I thought you could either go with purple, to sum up both indigo and violet, or you can you use either or both of those colours if you prefer.

Schooling challenge - Hometime

A late entry - rainbows to follow soon - hopefully!

Rating: G
Source: Pre Ring War (never happened)
Disclaimer: Tolkien wrote the cannon, Kortirion scribbled this bit in the margin.
