This trunk was darkened by sun, scarred by life’s battles… while the adjacent one was pale, supple as willow, and nearby, the golden fuzz of curls covered trunk, arms, legs… Thorongil ducked his head, natural curiosity was one thing, but staring was ill-mannered.
