All others were abed when she rose, her eyes drowsy but her heart longing to walk in the midsummer starlight. Undomiel saw none as she ventured out to wander in the woodland that reminded her so of the forest home she had of late abandoned.
As the sun’s last rays departed and soft stars awoke, she heard a gentle singing, full of longing and of love. Stalking silent, her eyes heavy with Galadriel’s draught, she spied a figure walking, and the vial’s silvered drops made clear love’s hidden light, shining as the stars above upon the one Undomiel now desired.
