Notes: for the complement challenge - I'm going with the idea of a ship's complement here.
Flotsam have the Faithful become, Andor our gift revoked.
We sail into a future unknown, the past we leave drowned and destroyed.
An ocean of tears would not tell of our grief.
Eärendil led us starwards.
Now dispossessed we flee eastward to the rising sun, clinging to our only shard of hope.
Out of the Great Sea to Middle-earth I come.
In that place will I abide, and my heirs, unto the ending of the world.
Nine great ships, seven seeing stones,
Two fine sons, and one white tree.
These alone compose my life’s complement on this voyage of sorrow.
