Go Not

Disclaimer: Faramir is Tolkien's Gary Stu - but he's a lovely Stu, so we'll let him off.
Author's Note: For the 'into' challenge. Oringinally posted long long ago at lotr100.

Go not out into the world for duty, my love. My song calls to you upon the breeze, though not wrought for such. It is but a lament for one who already sits beside me. He was no greater than you, but fell before his time.

Were both my sons made to sheath arrows?

Go not beyond the seventh gate; You go to regain a love that was never lost.

If you must go, go with strength: cage the dove and let fly the raven.

What grace I have I pass to you, my son, and pray it be sufficient.
