Source LotR – the year before the King's return.
Disclaimer: Tolkien saw it all perfectly... Kortirion squints from the edges.
A tree, scented blossom... and the roar of a waterfall... Again and again the sound disturbed him, and coming to wakefulness, that elusive perfume he couldn’t name, that vanished before he was properly aware... Faramir shook his head – ‘green dawn’ showed above Osgiliath’s ruined towers. He stifled a yawn... ‘Midsummer – the longest day... or rather the shortest night...’ for he felt he’d had little enough sleep.
Boromir would be leaving... following dreams... Faramir had never seen himself in those dreams; rather... he seemed to stand near a white-flowering tree... which could only mean, he should remain in Gondor ...couldn’t it?
