He clattered across the courtyard, every so often pausing to curse softly and shift the weight of the gleaming armour which rubbed and scraped his flesh.
Faramir paused once more when he felt his brother’s eyes on him, turning to meet them with a scowl.
“I suppose you think this amusing?”
“Very much, little brother.”
The heir crossed to his brother’s side and rapped a knuckle on the bright steel before reaching for the leather straps at either shoulder and pulling them tighter.
Faramir rolled his shoulders cautiously, a smile spreading across his face.
“Very much. Thank you, Artamir.”
