Following on from the previous drabbles, continuing the story of post-Galadriel Lothlórien...
As they prepared to leave and settle, in a simpler fashion, in East Lórien, Celeborn felt as if the very elements were seeking revenge for those Ages of stasis when only gentle rain, and soft breezes, were permitted within the boundaries of Lothlórien.
‘Thank Eru,’ he thought, ‘that tempests only occur at sea – for they must be all we have avoided these past months.’
A picture came to him, unbidden, of Galadriel standing at the prow of the great white ship.
‘Ha!’ he thought, ‘if they met a tempest on the voyage she would have quelled it with one look.’
