Following on from the previous drabbles, continuing the story of post-Galadriel Lothlórien...
“My Lord, we have identified four groves with good supplies of fresh water and sufficient healthy trees to bear talans; although they could not be as magnificent as these,” the marchwarden added with a tinge of regret. “The soil is poor, but we could enrich it in time, and we have already killed many of the giant spiders, also destroying their eggs.
“There have been no sightings of yrch.”
“Thank you, Haldir,” Celeborn said, thinking ‘this enterprise is good for him, too. Since I sowed the wind of change in him he can, again, reap the whirlwind of meaningful action!’
