Characters: Two brothers in Rohan

He envied his brother his sense of timing. He was the oldest, would inherit the farm...and always picked the better horse.
He hurt his foot...his brother went to the dance instead...and got the apple-bosomed girl.
Then his brother got killed...and he didn’t.
He got the farm, the horse...and the wife.
The first winter was hard...her tongue wasn't as soft as her bosom.
He sought peace outside...by the burial-mound.
At least the wife is a strong woman. We had to slaughter the horse... but she will do...in front of the plough...
“Excellent timing, brother," he said to the burial-mound, “as always.”
