More about Eldarion in the classroom.
It was dusk; lessons on this winter’s day were almost over.
As Eldarion finished his sums Firiel looked out at the secluded courtyard below, and shivered. Someone had told her that Lord Denethor’s ghost had been seen walking there.
“Will they be here soon?”
She turned at her charge’s voice and almost fainted. Behind his chair stood a faintly glowing figure, white from head to toe! She had heard no door, no steps, it must be…
How to protect Eldarion? She tried to stay calm, but her face betrayed her.
Eldarion turned towards the apparition… who smiled.
“Grandfather! You’ve arrived!”
I don't think Eldarion would call Celeborn 'Great-grandfather' in every day speech; he is, after all, the only member of Eldarion's family tree beyond his parents' generation that he has ever, or will ever, meet.
I almost forgot to do this! I have been totally bound up with Aragorn and Arwen in my Elladan & Elrohir story and almost forgot to come back to them here!
