Heavy-lidded eyes, half-closed in bliss… long, well-muscled body supine atop the quilt… yawning, stretching, but not offering to move from the bed’s comfortable warmth. Faramir watched in fascination, remembering another large, golden rohir who’d stretched out on Boromir’s bed – equally brazen in his unspoken demands for attention…
This one reminded him of the former… but then they were of the same lineage. He reached to stroke the tawny mane, running his hand across back… flank. The golden one purred under his touch… twitched a heavily tufted ear…
