Disclaimer: All of Middle Earth comes from the hand of Tolkien. I own nothing. I make no profit off the drabble.
A/N: Ack! I disturbed myself a bit by writing this. Not my usual at all.
Damrod willed the cold deep, to dim the heart, silence rage that mere survival demanded savagery.
Faramir pressed a fist against his mouth, body rigid. “We must know.”
Damrod scowled. “We will. Wait here.”
Faramir turned, steel-eyed. Damrod met him in kind. He knew deep, blood-splattered shards of himself. Merciless he could be,
cruel. Black, twisted, orcish. The Valar‘s price for defenseless blood, another nightmare bartered, another scream.
Far better he, already tainted, bear that curse again than his captain suffer such harrowing of the soul.
Faramir faltered, eyes sick.
Damrod pushed past him, blade unsheathed. “The prisoner will speak.”
Notes: Aaaah. After Mablung I wanted to introduce you to another of my ranger OCs, because I love them, but not a first impression like this. Please don't believe him, he's very rarely like this. Also, I have no doubt Faramir could, if he had to, and would...it just makes me sick to think of it. :( Aaaah. Off to write something happy now.
